OVERVIEW OF OUR RECENT CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS

Aerospace: In 2024 our company continued to serve as advisors to a West Coast manufacturer of ECCN 9A610 military aerospace ground support equipment. We advised them on use of several license exceptions, guided them through filing BIS licenses and provided general EAR regulatory guidance on several transactions. We also worked with an American/Israeli owned exporter to draft and file several 3rd party export license applications for series 600 exports to an Israeli defense contractor.

Over the years TSI Global Consulting has provided onsite export compliance training to over fifteen US small and medium sized military aerospace manufacturers and exporters on basic through intermediate EAR and ITAR trade compliance, with a special focus on Series 600 aerospace parts and components. From 2017-2021 our company provided EAR and ITAR consulting that included regulatory guidance and 3rd party license filing for a large Texas based manufacturer of commercial and military UAS/UAV systems.  We also advised a midsized aerospace company that was engaged in the conversion of a fleet of commercial business aircraft into Category VIII ITAR Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms. For many years we have handled the licensing for a Florida based exporter of C-130 parts to the Air Force of a South American country and we have provided trade advisory services and 3rd party license filings to another Florida based company engaged in exports of series 600 military aircraft parts to Fábrica Argentina de Aviones SA (FADEA). In the mid-2010s we handled EAR series 600 licensing for a Connecticut firm that exported ECCN 9A610 parts to Embraer in Brazil. In 2017 Mr. Fink held an EAR/ITAR onsite at a large West Coast manufacturer of military aircraft panels,, subassemblies and parts. And we have long time client in Arizona whom we counsel on export of Series 600 parts and components to the Indonesian Air Force. This is but a small sample of our engagements in the military aerospace sector.

Machine tools: For many years TSI Global Consulting has advised and filed 3rd party EAR license applications for an East Coast based manufacturer of export controlled 5-Axis CNC equipment. We have also filed Commerce Classification requests (CCATS) for ECCN determination on behalf of several machine tool manufacturers and obtained one-off licenses for two other companies operating in this sector.

Hi-Speed and IR Cameras—For many years our firm has provided EAR advisory services and obtained multiple EAR licenses for a West Coast manufacturer that exports ECCN 6A003 high speed cameras used in manufacturing R&D as well as military applications. We have also advised another West Coast manufacturer and exporter of controlled deep water marine cameras. And we have worked on behalf of another Texas company to handle the licensing of export controlled infrared cameras exported for Industrial end use.

Industrial equipment—Our firm advises and licenses ECCN 2B350 export controlled valves for a West Coast exporter of industrial equipment for use in the global semiconductor industry. We also obtained a license for a Houston based petroleum company to export pumps and valves to a large Saudi Arabian oil facility the Middle East. In 2023 we conducted an ECCN evaluation an filed a CCATS for a large Alabama based machine tool manufacturer.

Exports to Sanctioned Countries: Russia and Cuba: In 2024 a large Midwest based exporter of agricultural equipment engaged TSI Global Consulting to obtain an EAR license to export replacement agricultural machinery parts to Russia under a BIS license. We successfully obtained a $US 1-million-dollar license on their behalf to export to a defined set of distributors and end users in Russia. We also assisted a manufacturer of optical lenses to export into the Russian market by obtaining an EAR license for their company allowing them to sell to their master distributor and a defined set of end users. In recent years we also advised a consulting firm and assisted them to obtain a license to export hardware products to Cuba.
