Just this morning, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its intent to organize a trade mission to the Caribbean to encourage companies from both regions to do business with each other.  This is a golden opportunity for anyone who would like to grow their business abroad: the Caribbean is a very dynamic region with untapped markets, and a U.S. trade mission can give your company the direct contacts that it needs to be successful there.  Included in the mission is participation in the Trade Americas – Opportunities in the Caribbean Region Conference, one-on-one consultations with trade representatives from various Caribbean countries, and even specific in-country, on-site appointments with businesses in the Caribbean!  While this opportunity is specifically intended for those in the construction, medical, energy, and security equipment fields, it is still open to those in others.  The trade mission runs from June 8th-12th, and applications are due no later than April 4th.

If you are at all interested in doing business with the diverse markets of the Caribbean, we encourage you to apply to participate in this trade mission.  If you are interested in a more country-specific approach to developing your international business, please contact TSI Global Consulting at 210-757-0618 for a consultation.
